Ennouncements - Saturday, August 13 - Sunday, August 21, 2011

Sunday, August 14 - Outdoor Sunday Worship at 4:30pm at Highland Park
Final worship in the park. Have you been wondering what church in the Highland Park picnic area is like? Well, this is the week for you. 80 degrees and sunny (which is about 25 degrees cooler than our Sunday norm, but whatever) tomorrow! Plus, we are kicking off our Wild Week. Plus, the Gospel shows us Jesus getting schooled by a woman. Come and see. Worship begins at 4:30PM. Stick around for some perfectly grilled hotdogs, if you are so inclined. The turn for the picnic area is located across the street from the Circus Juventas parking lot at 1300 Montreal Avenue, St. Paul.
  Sunday – Thursday, August 14 - 18 – WILD WEEK!
Wild Week is here. We kick things off in worship on Sunday, and then gather behind Adams School from 3-6PM Monday-Thursday. Art, games, Bible stories and a goooood dinner. Wild Week is a free event. Adult volunteers needed: talk to Michelle Walka if you available one or more days.
Friday, August 19 - Operation Caffeination
Friday morning is hopping at the bus stop at West 7th and Randolph. Stop by for a cup of coffee or a PJ Murphy's donut. With sprinkles. 7ish to 8ish. (That's AM, friends).
Sunday, August 21 – Sunday Worship at 4:30pm at Acme Art Gallery
New space for worship. Beginning Sunday, August 21, Humble Walk will meet for worship in our new location: Acme Art Gallery. Hear all about it at worship on Sunday...or read about it here.
Wild Week is HERE and We Need Your Help! This year’s Wild Week will be Sunday, August 14th through Thursday August 18th.

Wild Week starts on Sunday with worship, feasting and fun at Highland Park (at the 4:30pm worship time) and then starting on Monday we move to Adam’s Park for some Wild Good times from 3-5:30pm learning, games, arts and crafts, silly songs, and so much more! At 5:30pm each weeknight we will end with dinner with Thursday concluding our time together with ice cream!

With all of this being said...Wild Week is geared for children entering 5th grade and below, so if you are older than that we could use your help! There are many ways you can help: helping with meal planning and set-up and clean-up, playing with the children, helping to coordinate arts and crafts time, being wild and crazy with the children... did I mention having fun with the children!? Please let me know if you would like to help. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Peace, Michelle
