Sing it, baby

Do you know what I love? I love when our community takes the risk to just sing. I know it's sort of hard. It can feel naked--especially in our church body--especially in our Pilney space-especially if you don't think you can sing. But then--there are moments like last night when everyone throws caution to the wind. Out come the harmonies. Out come the youngest voices. Out come those of us (gulp) who are happy just to stay near the melody line.

So begins our Lenten trip (see also: adventure, travels and if necessary, journey). If you like a lot of stuff in worship--you might hate this. If you like that stripped-down naked Psalm chanting thing...well, honey...this is your season.

One great big thank you to Andy Lien for leading us this season. We are in good hands.
