Last night, our leadership team gathered. Part of our work is to put words to what/who Humble Walk is...and is becoming. It's no small task. We tossed around words like: intentional, truthful, Christ-centered, hospitality driven (wait...is that like purpose-driven, but with coffee and baked goods?) As a follow up, Slade proposed a few questions. 1. If Jesus were to take a walk around the Humble Walk neighborhood and stop in at Skinner's to chat with people, what would his to-do list be at the end of the day? 2. What does Humble Walk do exceptionally well, maybe even better than most churches? What should we work on being better at doing? 3. If you thought about Humble Walk as a family, what would you say are our core values? 4. If Humble Walk were a baby (it is) and we had a scrapbook to keep (we should) what would you like to see in the scrapbook at its 5th birthday party?
