On Wednesday mornings, a group of youngsters find their way to our backyard. Last week, we made gigantic hula hoops. They are so big that even untrained, unlearned hoopsters like me can make them stay up. A small miracle. This morning, we held a Juno Avenue Bike Rodeo. Bikes were washed, chains were degreased. We learned basic hand signals, the importance of wearing helmets and took a spin around the block. Leaders Val and Felicia set up an ingenius obstacle course that offered opportunities to use those new hand signals. Even with a bit of rain, it was a great morning. See for yourself.
